"All That Slithers" by Fionna Cosgrove is 13 of the most delightfully wicked stories. My favorite one, "Irene's Eye-Scream Parlour" is a great way to describe "All That Slithers" as a whole: 🍨 a flavor for EVERYbody in the multitude of horrors you'll experience. Some are death by chocolate, others rocky road, but absolutely none of them are vanilla... Not without a juicy surprise at least! 😈
There is a lot of detail and care put into the book: QR codes are like special easter eggs to learn more about real spooky history or listen to a playlist for those who like a full sensory immersion. I loved the spooky meters to let you know what kind of story you were getting into. The writing is effortless to read, you forget you're reading at all: conjuring in your mind's eye the creepiest and twisted tales (plus, check out her Twisted Trails if you like choose your adventure).
13/13 worth a read and worth a place on your bookshelf!
